A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Rick and I just got back from the Patagonia Dealer Camp in Ashton, ID.  It was a grerat time hanging with other fly flingers, gear guys, and shop dudes all looking at next year's (2013) Spring goodies from the great folks at Patagu.  We even got to hang out with YC and learn a lot about Tenkara fishing.  Oh man!  Just what I need, another fishing addiction in the making....Anyway, Rick and I were talking it up on the way there about how good the fishing in the Park LOOKED as we drove past the Gibbon Meadows, the meanders below the Falls, the Junction Pool with the Firehole.  Screech, that's it we couldn't take it any longer.  But where was all the other fishermen?  Didn't care!  We stopped at 7-mile bridge just to look.  That was it- a look- before cruising through West and making it to Goat Mountain Ranch and the dinner the Harbaugh's had waiting.  It ended up being  a look, and a cast.  And, well,  a hookup on a PMD dry.  Scratch the itch!
