Right on Time

Theyr'e here. Finally. But as predicted, mind you. We've been saying for some time now that the Big Bug would be here starting the last week of June. Check the calendar... It's been awhile since we last had the opportunity to fish this hatch here on the Stone. But it's looking like the stars are in alignment and it's actually going to happen. The pent up desire is almost palable. Fish and Angler alike..... With the nymphs on the banks and under the rocks just off the edge, the emergence is imminent. Better get your lawn mowed, honey-do's done, pull the cover off the driftboat or pump up the raft and get your game face on. This only comes around once a year- when we're lucky.
