Return Policy:

We hope that you are completely satisfied with your purchase.  However, we understand that there are times when items may be returned.

You may return any unused retail priced item within 30 days of receipt for a full refund of the purchase price, store credit, or item exchange  excluding shipping. All fly orders are final – unless they are defective or Angler’s West or its agent(s) incorrectly send you a size or color that differs from what was ordered. All sale priced and discounted product purchases are final.

To return the item, package and send the item to Angler's West with your name, address, phone, email, and a quick message why you are returning the item.  Please note that all returned items must be received within 30 days from the original purchase date, must be 100% complete in resaleable (unused) condition, include a copy of the shipping invoice or receipt as well as all the product’s original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.

Before returning any product, please contact us via e-mail or by phone to see if we can help and to get shipping instructions. All defective products will be accepted directly by Angler’s West for credit, exchange or repair, at Angler’s West discretion within 30 days from the invoice date.

Angler’s West reserves the right to authorize product returns beyond 30 days from the invoice date. If the product is accepted after 30 days, store credit will be issued toward future purchases only.

Waders and/or Wading Boot return:  Please try on you waders and/or wading boots indoors on a clean floor.  If the fit is not correct, please call us so that we may work with you to get the proper fitting items to you.  Do not wear or try on outdoors.  We CANNOT accept & exchange  waders or wading boots that have been used.

Fly Rods and/or Reel returns:  You may return a rod for exchange as long as it has not been used on the water IE-fished.  This means that the protective plastic must still be on the handle.  No wear marks on the rod at all. Dirty cork grips, missing warranty cards, or rods with Manufacturers warranty cards already filled out and sent in are NOT refundable or exchangeable.  If you buy a reel from us and have us load it up with backing and a flyline- they must be in new, unused condition 
in order to be returned or exchanged.  You will be charged for the retail price of the flyline, backing, and shop service time.

Shipping Policies

We are committed to ensuring the affordability and speed of how our product is delivered to you.  Get your online order to us before 10 AM Mountain Standard time Monday - Friday, and we will likely have it on its way to you that same day!

Domestic-Continental US

Angler's West offers Free Domestic US Ground Shipping on qualified online orders of $75.00 or more. We will ship your order via UPS Ground or US Postal Priority with delivery confirmation service at our discretion based upon location, size, & cost. Your order should arrive in 5 to 7 business days.  All orders of in-stock items are packaged in 1-2 business days. Special order items or products that are out of stock may be drop shipped from the manufacturer or require a backorder resulting in an order time that is longer. We will contact you if an item is going to be backordered.

Exceptions to Free Domestic Shipping:  Actual shipping charges will be charged to the customer in the following circumstances-
  • Sale, closeout, or discontinued items
  •  Standard Ground Delivery on orders less than $75.00
  •  Requested Expedited Shipping – US Postal Express, UPS 2 day, UPS Overnight, requested FEDEX
  •  Shipments to Alaska or Hawaii do not qualify for free shipping.
Your credit card will be billed only for items that ship. We do not bill for items that are backordered until they ship.
Items that are canceled because of unavailability will not be billed. We make every attempt to ship the entire order at one time. However, there may be products that will be shipped separately. You will only be billed for the shipping charge as the first items of your order are shipped. Backordered items are not charged for shipping.

International Orders

Free US Postal Priority International on orders more than $250.00USD.  Order less than $250 USD have 3 choices for International shipment
  • US Postal International First Class.  The slowest but least cost. 2-3 weeks with no tracking options
  • US Postal International Priority.  The balanced choice between speed and cost.  1-2 weeks time but with tracking available.
  • US Postal International Express.  Cost is higher, but items arrive typically within a week.  And does offer tracking.
Exceptions to Free International Shipping on orders over $250.00 USD:
  • Sale or closeout items
  • Requested Expedited Shipping – US Postal Express International
  • Oversized Packages (for example: luggage, 2-piece rod cases (long) , & large gear bags).
Duties and Taxes: International orders are not subject to US taxes. However, it is possible that import duties and/or taxes will be applied by the country of final destination. The recipient is responsible for payment of all applicable duties, taxes and other fees. Gift orders may be assessed duty depending on the country. Please contact your customs office for information on duties, taxes and restricted items.
