Willow Creek offers superb fishing in a picturesque canyon below Harrison Reservoir. Located on a private ranch near Three Forks, Montana, the creek has a good population of 10- to 16-inch rainbows and brown trout, and provides excellent nymph and dry fly fishing.
The fishing locations are best accessed from two areas on the ranch. One is the canyon stretch near the resevoir and the second is the bottom of the canyon into the meadow. Both areas give fishermen excellent opportunity to access the creek's many riffles, runs, and deeper boulder strewn pools. The trout literally hide in every nook and cranny. Remember the saying that "there's a fish in front of and behind every rock"? Take it to heart here because we can prove it's true!
With only a handful of anglers a day allowed to fish on the property, advance reservations are a must.
