So you missed last weekends great fishing, keep your shirts on. This thing may come around just one more time and give us a parting shot at caddis. The weather has cooled significantly, the river has started to drop NOT jump and it's clearing. IT's on the fence today whether or not you can fish it. Another day or two and I think you're back in the game. Big Question is for how long! The forecast for the next 4 days up in the Park : middle 40s to low 50s, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy and 20-30% chance of showers. Nightime temps are to drop to right around freezing. IT COULD HAPPEN that Sun-Tues may be a window of opportunity.....Visibility only needs to be in the 12-16 inch range for the river to fish once the caddis are popping.
Report Flows: Real Time Stream Flows:
Corwin Springs, Livingston
Hatches: Midges, great baetis on the cloudy days. We're seeing enough caddis to start thinking the real deal is possibly close at hand. Fish are just starting to take notice and look for the pupa on the swing and a few dries.

Dries: Royal Wulffs in 18-20, Hi-vis Para Adams 16-20, Purple Haze same sizes, CDC Midge cluster, Buzzballs, Griffiths Gnats, Para Wulff BWO, Purple, and H&L version all catching trout. When the caddis get going, Trudes, Stimis, Elk Hair Caddis, and Bloom's Para Caddis are all great choices.
